Ministry Of Health Commissioner Kiboko Perishes In A Road Accident

The Ministry of Health- Uganda is mourning the passing of their commissioner in charge of nursing, Petua Olobo Kiboko.

“With deep sorrow, we announce the untimely death of our Acting Commissioner in charge of Nursing, Sr. Petua Kiboko which occurred today,” the ministry tweeted on Sunday.

It added: “We stand with her family during this trying time. May Sr. Kiboko’s soul Rest in eternal Peace.”

Health minister Dr Jane Ruth Aceng also tweeted saying: “Deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of our dear acting commissioner in charge of Nursing, Sr. Petua O. Kiboko which happened today.”

She added: “Sr. Kiboko passed away in a road accident. My heartfelt condolences to her dear family. May her soul rest in eternal peace.”

Kiboko was travelling with her family members including her husband and sons.

The accident happened between Kaberamaido and Dokolo districts.She is the only who died while the others are critically injured.edge
