Museveni Names 16 New High Court Judges

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has appointed in acting capacity 16 Judges of the High Court into the Judiciary Service.

These appointments are an outcome of the Commission’s ongoing recruitment exercise of Judicial Officers at various levels into the judiciary service.

This is the largest ever appointment of Judges of the High Court at that level by the President.

The appointment is expected to enhance the capacity of the High Court to expeditiously dispose of cases and tackle backlog.

The appointments are as follows;

2. HW. Douglas Singiza Karekona

3. HW. Flavia Matovu Nassuna

4. HW. Samuel Emokor

5. HW. Susan Kanyange

6. Bernard Namanya

7. Patricia Kahingi Asiimwe

8. Thomas Ocaya Ojele

9. Christine Kaahwa

10. Patricia Mutesi

11. Okello George

12. Faridah Shamilah Bukirwa

13. Harriet Grace Magala

14. Collins Acellam

15. Celia Nagawa

16. Allan Paul Nshimye Mbabazi
