With the 2026 General elections coming closer and closer, Mr. Ayikobua Isaac has confirmed to us that he is coming back to take Ayivu East Division in Arua City to the next level.

Hon. Isaac is the former NUP flag bearer for Ayivu East Division Arua City and contested as a member of Parliament in 2021 where he came in the second position.

He is a lawyer by profession and also holds Bachelors Degree in International Relations and Human Rights.

He is a big challenger of the ruling NRM Government in West Nile in general and Arua City in Particular.

Isaac is a fearless and vocal politician whom many people in Arua refer to as the next Kasiano Wadri in the area.

As he prepares again to try and represent the people of Ayivu East in Arua City, Isaac says he is too ready for the battle.

He is defiant even though the ruling government allies have tried to put him under duress to confess crossing the government and making a Photoshop of him with them but he has maintained his ground and again representing his mighty opposition political party the National Unity Platform (NUP) with strongest opposition to the government though he was put under duress and detention forceful to cross to the ruling government.

Recently he warned the NRM associates to desist from such acts of photoshoping and putting people under duress to cross to their party forcefully.

He says he remains a strong and committed pillar in the opposition in their quest take over leadership of the country.

“I therefore cannot subscribe to a government we are fighting to remove, we are still committed to cause,” Isaac said.
