Pictorial: Uproar As SFC Soldiers Brutalize Journalists For Covering Eviction Of Errant Spenah Beach Tennant

Spenah Beach Boss Asiimwe John has this morning been evicted by his landlord Kabuye Stephen after months of tight standoff.

Asiimwe had refused to vacate the premises claiming that he invested over 1 billion to purchase sand on the beach which he wanted Kabuye to refund before evicting him.

However, in a district security meeting chaired last week by Entebbe Deputy Resident District Commissioner (D/RDC) Jacqueline Kakunda ordered Asiimwe to vacate the premises by Thursday (yesterday) and go into amicable talks with his landlord on the issue of compensation which Asiimwe rejected thus evicting him forcefully Friday morning.

Meanwhile, the eviction was marred with violence after Special Force’s Command (SFC) soldiers swung into action and started beating journalists and Kabuye’s workers who were conducting the eviction.

The soldiers who arrived aboard a truck no. H4DF 1616, jumped off and immediately begun beating up Mr Steven Kabuye’s people and journalists.

Journalists beaten by SFC at Spenah Beach this morning during the eviction of a tenant whose contract had expired include; Ivan Walunyolo (NTV), Drake Kiyingi (Spark TV), Balikowa Yunusu NTV camera man), Goerge Kakooza (CBS) among others.
