Pictorial:Oliver Nakakande Crowned Miss Uganda 2019

Contestant number 22 Oliver Nakakande has been crowned Miss Uganda 2019.

She replaces Quiin Abenakyo who also doubles as Miss World Africa.

Nakakande was announced on Saturday morning by special guest judge and patron, Zari Hassan at Sheraton hotel in Kampala.

She was officially crowned by Miss World Vanessa Ponce De Leon who is on a tour of Uganda and Quiin Abenakyo.

The 24 year-old beauty queen is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management/Marketing.

Nakakande

She will represent Uganda at the Miss World 2019 finals.

Nakakande took home the crown and a brand new Toyota Wish Red in Colour and branded Miss Uganda.

Nakakande and her two first and second runners up

Petronella Acen was 1st runner up and Mariam Nyamatte was 2nd runner up.

She hails from Bombo and her role model is Serena Williams.Edgeug.
