If you have marriage fever, Ragga Dee has a message for you.

Ragga Dee titled the knot with Mariam Kazibwe on January 19, 2008, at Namirembe Cathedral in Kampala.

He splurged on the wedding party which was held at the Kampala Serena Hotel and it’s said that he inspired other celebs to get married, as Jose Chameleone wedded Daniella Atim three months after — and Bobi Wine walked Barbie Itungo down the aisle three years later.

“You know, usually people after weddings they get so many problems,” said Dee, real name Dan Kazibwe when Crystal Newman asked him if he regrets splashing a load of cash on his wedding.

“But we’ve been there, we’ve got our kids… [our relationship has grown stronger] than before. Because we’ve learnt more about life than before,” added the ‘Kamukube Empeta’ hitmaker who went on to elaborate how marriage can ruin someone’s life if they get into it without thorough planning.

“Sometimes you get into marriages and you are not sure of what you are getting into. Because marriage is like a proper death sentence. [Laughs]. For those who are not married yet, they need to know.

“If you are used to a different kind of life, you need to know what you are getting into. You need to know that there are dos and don’ts in marriage. You need to know that I used to have a lot of friends, but this is one friend I don’t mess with.”

He said breakups usually happen because people don’t bother to learn about the inner workings
“You need to get ready for it… You need to set yourself ready,” he said.

Ragga Dee and his wife, Mariam Kazibwe, grew up in the same neighbourhood in Najjanankumbi, a Kampala suburb.
