SFC Breaks Silence On Museveni ‘Mobile Toilet’ Vehicle Accident

The Special Forces Command (SFC) has spoken out on an accident that left three people injured along the Northern bypass in Kampala on Monday, September 12. 

In a video shared online after the accident, a woman was recorded claiming that it was the vehicle with President Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s mobile toilet that hit the bodaboda carrying two passengers.

Also, while some eye witnesses claimed that it was the president’s ‘mobile toilet’ vehicle that knocked the bodaboda, a statement by Maj Jimmy Denis Omara, the spokesperson of the SFC, read otherwise.

Knocked Ugandans yearning for their lives

Here is the SFC version of the accident as told by Maj Omara:

The presidential convoy involved in accident along Northern bypass.

Today at around 11:40 am, an accident happened at Masanafu roundabout on the flyover towards Busega.

The accident happened when the rider of a motorcycle Reg. number UFM 260F swerved to avoid hitting a stationary vehicle, hit right rear side as result fell off the bike in to the middle of the road with the two passengers. In the process some of the convoy vehicles swerved to avoid hitting them.

Three people were involved in the accident- two adult males and one female all currently admitted in the hospital with injuries.

We are monitoring the injured, have notified their next of kin and wish them a quick recovery.
