Sierra Leone Leader Maada Bids Farewell To M7 after A Three Day State Visit

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has met and bid farewell to President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone Julius Maada Bio who is on a 3-day visit to Uganda at the invitation of the hosting president.

This visit further strengthened the warm and cordial relations existing between the two countries. These relations are anchored in the spirit of good will, mutual respect, shared prosperity, and Pan Africanism.

The two Heads of State engaged in Bilateral discussions and explore avenues in further strengthening cooperation in the political, economic and social cultural areas of interest with the view to further deepening regional integration and the promotion of Structural Transformation and Industrialization of the two countries.

During the meeting at Kampala Sheraton Hotel this morning, which was also attended by State Minister for Works, Gen. Katumba Wamala and Uganda’s High commissioner to Sierra Leone, Mr. Nelson Ocheger, President Museveni and his guest emphasized their countries’ commitment to the commercialization of agriculture through showing the communities in both countries who are involved in the sector of agricultural production to shift away from subsistence production.
