United Kingdom-based Ugandan socialite, TikToker, and motivational speaker popularly known as Generations- real name Faridah Namukasa yesterday marked 10 years of charity work with a Shs10 million donation to King’s and Queen’s Junior School in Katuba, Bweyogerere.

The donation was made through her non-governmental organization, In Memory of Madia Care Foundation, which is based in Minister’s Village, Ntinda. Beyond the cash contribution, Generations delivered assorted items including sugar, rice, cooking oil, bottled water, toiletries, bread, soft drinks, and flour.

Addressing pupils, teachers, parents, village elders, and members of the press on April 14, Generations reiterated her long-standing belief in education as the foundation for personal and societal transformation.

“I have always insisted that the road to success starts with education. It’s important for everyone to have an education,” she said. “I encourage men to marry educated women, and in case one finds an uneducated woman, take her to school. Education is a pillar of a successful marriage.”

She described the donation as part of her broader commitment to “giving back to society” and commended the school’s management for its dedication to serving Uganda through quality education.

Generations dedicated the charity initiative to her late grandmother, Madia Tindiwensi, who passed away from cancer last year. She credited Tindiwensi as “a strong pillar in my life” and the inspiration behind the foundation’s name and mission.

“I have been into charity for the past 10 years,” Generations noted, adding that her work has consistently focused on supporting the needy and less privileged.

King’s and Queen’s Junior School is administered under Muslim Ambassadors Uganda (MAU), a non-government organization established in 2017. MAU works to uplift marginalized Muslim communities with a special focus on women, youth, and children through income-generating enterprises, entrepreneurship, vocational education, counseling, skilling, and empowerment.

School management hailed the contribution, stating that the Shs10 million donation “would make an everlasting impact on the school.” In recognition of her work, MAU named Generations a goodwill ambassador for the organization.

In a statement, MAU described itself as “an agency that strives to organize, advocate, empower and transfer the socio-economic status of marginalized people, especially those in underserved, desperate and disillusioned Muslim communities. The ultimate goal is to find effective and suitable solutions to the social, economic and psychological problems of the victims through counseling, skilling and empowerment.”

“We are immensely proud to be associated with Generations because she has impacted lives over the years,” the statement added.

Over the past decade, Generations has built a reputation not only as a motivational speaker but as an active philanthropist. Her foundation’s latest intervention aligns with ongoing national conversations on inclusive growth, education access, and women’s empowerment themes echoed in government programs like the GROW Project and Parish Development Model.

The event in Bweyogerere underscores a growing trend of diaspora Ugandans channeling resources toward grassroots education and social enterprise, with a clear emphasis on education as the entry point to long-term economic stability.

Based in Minister’s Village, Ntinda, the foundation supports vulnerable groups through direct aid, education support, and community empowerment initiatives. It was founded in memory of Madia Tindiwensi.
