The opposition has this afternoon declared Asuman Basalirwa of JEEMA as its joint candidate in the race for Speaker of Parliament ahead of tomorrow’s polls at Kololo.

The Bugiri Member of Parliament will tussle it out with NRM’s Anita Among.

The election follows the death of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah last Sunday.

Chief Justice Owiny Dollo is expected to preside over the election.
