Speke Resort Munyonyo & Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort Limited are this week hosting the Ministerial meeting of the African Union Committee on the reform of the UN Security Council.

The Capital Times have learnt that the AU Committee ministerial meeting is happening this week from Wednesday, 19 January to Friday, 21 January 2022.

The hotel through its social media handles further confirmed the development thus.. “We are honored to host the African Union Committee of 10 (C-10) Ministerial meeting on the reform of the United Nations Security Council starting from 19th to 21 January 2022.”

The African Union Committee of Ten Heads of State and Government (C-10) is a Committee setup by the African Union (AU) with mandate to advocate and canvass the African Common Position on United Nations Security Council (UNSC) reform.

Members of the C-10 who are set to attend the prestigious event include the Heads of State and Government of Senegal, Uganda, Algeria, Kenya, Zambia, Sierra Leone, the Republic of Congo, Libya, Namibia, and Equatorial Guinea.

The meeting will be coordinated by the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, His Excellency Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma.

All set for the Ministerial meeting of the African Union Committee on the reform of the UN Security Council.
