Top Story! AIM Global Uganda Defends Its Business Model, Reaffirms Commitment to Transparency, Ethical Entrepreneurship and Regulatory Compliance

KAMPALA: AIM Global Uganda has reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, ethical business conduct, and regulatory compliance amid recent public discussions and media reports regarding its operations in the country.

Speaking at a press conference in Kampala on Monday, June 29, Mr. Samuel Kakande, Legal Adviser at Silicon Advocates and speaking on behalf of AIM Global Uganda, said the company remains focused on empowering consumers and entrepreneurs through legitimate business opportunities and quality health and wellness products.

Kakande described AIM Global as an internationally recognized health and wellness distribution company dedicated to improving lives through premium products and sustainable entrepreneurial ventures.

“AIM Global’s business model is designed to empower ordinary individuals through product distribution and global networking opportunities,” he said. “The company operates with a clear corporate mission and remains committed to transparency and ethical conduct in all its activities.”

Responding to concerns raised in recent reports, Kakande clarified that the company’s direct-selling model is anchored on the sale and distribution of products rather than recruitment fees.

“Income within AIM Global is generated through retail sales and the expansion of a product distribution network. It is not based on recruitment fees,” he explained. “We regularly conduct leadership and capacity-building seminars to equip individuals with entrepreneurial skills and financial literacy, not to promote get-rich-quick schemes.”

The company also distanced itself from individuals who may misrepresent its business model by making unrealistic promises of instant wealth.

“AIM Global strongly condemns any person who falsely promises overnight riches or guaranteed financial success. Such claims are contrary to our core values and company policies,” Kakande stated.

He emphasized that compensation earned by distributors is derived solely from lawful product sales and legitimate business activities conducted in accordance with company guidelines. He added that the company does not authorize or support any claims guaranteeing wealth or unrealistic financial returns.

To further strengthen accountability, AIM Global announced a zero-tolerance policy against fraudulent, deceptive, and unethical conduct. Kakande noted that distributors or representatives found violating company policies or applicable laws would face disciplinary measures, including suspension, termination of distributorship rights, and possible referral to law enforcement agencies.

The company also revealed that it has initiated an independent audit of its operations to identify and address any breaches of internal procedures, with offenders expected to face prosecution where necessary.

As part of efforts to enhance transparency and public engagement, AIM Global announced the establishment of a direct communication channel through which members of the public can seek information and receive immediate assistance regarding its products and business operations.

In addition, the company plans to expand its community outreach and awareness programmes aimed at promoting responsible entrepreneurship and educating the public about its business model.

AIM Global has also invited members of the public, government agencies, and aspiring entrepreneurs to visit its offices and engage directly with authorized representatives to gain a better understanding of its products and operations.

“We remain committed to serving Ugandans with world-class health and wellness products while providing a legitimate platform for entrepreneurship and personal growth,” Kakande said.

The statement comes amid increasing public debate surrounding direct-selling businesses and follows recent media reports that questioned certain aspects of the company’s operations in Uganda.
