One of Uganda’s top activist for minority groups like LGBT who went missing due to support and defending homosexual activities, standing against Harassment, torture and Youth unemployment in the country. Who last seen in 2013 whom his family members ,workmates and other civil society presumed to be dead has been spotted in USA in a people power Convention with Kyadondo member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi AKA BobiWine.

This comes after too much torture and Humiliation by Ugandan state security agencies for coming up to support the rights of sexual minorities to be permitted to also live in communities freely like any other nationals. With some Support from well-wishers, Eric Mukasa has severally been mistreated by Ugandan tradition and conservative state machinery while vandalizing his offices and opening up several tramped up cases.

Mukasa is also one of the members of the alternative a pressure group of unemployed youth who have been fighting for equal rights of all people and their justice. Security have put on some charges that he could answer charges of aiding and abetting homosexuality contrary to anti homosexuality bill 2014.

Mr. Eric Muaksa has been helping homosexual by clandestinely giving financial support and anti-retroviral medication to the qualified people especially gays and lesbians. Ugandan security authorities are busy requesting that whoever knows his whereabouts should contact the nearest police services. Some of his family members on several occasions have been attacked by security agencies who treat homosexual people as outcasts of the society.
Recently police and other military operatives attacked Mukasa’s home and other members of his pressure group, tortured his closest persons to coma as a way of extracting information on the whereabouts of their outspoken son on suspicion that they have received some funds to promote homosexuality across the country which is termed illegal in conservative Ugandan cultures.

With the coming up of pressure group like People power which has engulfed some youth like wild fire, Mukasa’s young ones were recently whisked to several military detention to extract information from them up to now nobody knows where they are putting up because they suspected to be in Dungeons.
When we contacted the national coordinator for Alternative Norman Tumuhimbise who has also been several times harassed by regime security forces confirmed Mukasa’s strange disappearance which had put all the concerned human rights defenders on tenterhooks. ’’Everyone is looking for his whereabouts ,being vocal and as defender of such rights which the government has not been able to give to the people we suspect that something could have happened to him being arrested by uncultured security forces’ ‘he said
