The Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has said its Electoral Commission Secretary has been arrested.
Mr. Augustine Ojobile, also the FDC acting Deputy Chief Administrative officer was picked from his home in Kasubi on Tuesday.
“The regime has started arresting our staff members, this morning plain-clothed gunmen arrested Mr. Augustine Ojobile our Electoral commission secretary and acting Deputy Chief Administrative officer from his home in Kasubi,” the party said in a short statement.
“We are yet to find the reason for his arrest and his whereabouts.”
The reason for his arrest is not yet known
