Victoria University Kampala (VU) has announced an offering of two special categories of scholarships awarded to students with financial challenges as a bailout to parents and guardians hit by the covid-19 pandemic effects.

In the two special scholarship categories, VU says the first scholarship offered at 60% offered through Ruparelia Foundation as a COVID-19 relief is open to everyone who wishes and meets the criteria to study at the university.

Under this scholarship scheme, a student will only pay UGX1,798,700 per semester as an overall fee that includes tuition, functional, application, and registration fees. This is a huge discount provided that the previous tuition before Covid-19 struck was at UGX 4 million.

The second scholarship scheme is one which the University recently announced, offering over 5000 bursaries to MPs, each having a chance to offer 10 scholarships to their own electorate. Under this scheme, all students recommended by their MPs will only pay application and registration fees of UGX210,000 and tuition fees of UGX938,700 per semester for the entire course duration.

Why choose Victoria University?

Victoria University is by far the leading private university in Uganda standing out as a pivot of academic excellence, offering a fresh and intellectually thriving environment that nurtures critical and progressive thinkers and pushes pedagogical boundaries.
