Why Hickey Bar Boss Was Gunned Down At Quality Super Market?

The Kampala Metropolitan deputy Police Spokesperson,  Luke Owoyesigyire has revealed that one Arnold Ainebyona Mugisha,  was shot on the mouth by Moses Angoria, a security guard attached to Saracen security company while guarding at quality Supermarket.

He says a team of homicide officers from both Namugongo and Kira road Police visited the scene and also instituted a team to investigate into matter vide case file,  CRB 530/2019.

The Police say the incident occurred on Tuesday morning at around 10:30 am.

He adds that the victim was rushed to Independent Hospital, located in Ntinda, Nakawa Division from where he was later pronounced dead.

“We recovered the killer gun and also saved the accused from being beaten by the mob and is now admitted in Mulago Hospital for first aid following the injuries he sustained,” says Owoyesigyire.

The Police preliminary findings indicate that the deceased and his two other colleagues came to the supermarket for shopping, but the deceased remained in the car and after shopping,  that one of the three released a trolley, which knocked one of the cars in the parking.

In the process of reversing,  the deceased knocked at the foot of one Askari Babu Awaze.

This prompted an exchange of words between the two Security guards and the three customers.

Out of anger, Angoria allegedly rushed to the sentry box where he picked his SAR gun and shot the deceased in the mouth.

The Police tried to use the CCTV cameras at the scene  to ascertain what exactly went wrong, but they could not show the scene.byNVision
