The Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda boss Stephen Lutoti has come under fire for failing to remit salaries for his disgruntled employees.

The victims are employed at his personal herbal concoction business Eloipharm company and have not been paid for the last six month.

They say that due to delayed salary payments, they can no longer be able take care of their families adding that their children will not be able to report back to school for third term because of lack of school fees and other scholastic materials.

They further accuse Dr Lutoti for tarnishing the reputation of the Pharmaceutical Society of Uganda, once seen as a cornerstone of the healthcare system.

According to these employees, Dr Lutoti’s unchecked greed and blatant disregard for ethical standards have put the entire profession at risk, and the future of pharmacy practice in Uganda hangs in the balance.
