National Carrier, Uganda Airlines has announced that it will be offering three Dubai flights per week starting the month of October this year in an extended service to its loyal passengers.

While addressing a press conference in Kampala, Uganda Airlines’ Ag CEO, Jenifer Bamuturaki said the maiden flight to Dubai had been scheduled to take place at an earlier date but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bamuturaki and her team are said to be targeting migrant workers who travel to the Middle East, the business class, among others, on the Dubai route. Between 200 and 300 migrant workers leave the country daily for work in Saudi Arabia, Oman, and other gulf countries.

This would mean the airline will make some money back home.

This will be the first commercial flight of Uganda Airlines out of Africa. Since 2019, it has been operating in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, South Africa, South Sudan, and Tanzania.

With a three-cabin layout that only has 20 business class lie-flat seats, 28 premium economy seats, and 210 economy class seats, there should be plenty of legroom no matter where you are seated. So please don’t say I didn’t alert you on good deals in Town!
