Coach Desabre, Captain Onyango Reveal A Plan To Outsmart Senegal

Prior to the AFCON round of 16 game when Uganda plays West Africans Senegal, the Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre and team captain Denis Onyango addressed the media during the official pre-match press conference held at the Cairo International Stadium on Thursday.

Both Desabre and Onyango expressed confidence and readiness to face the Senegalese in the game that will kick off at 10 PM (East African Standard Time).
The duo expressed their views about the match, shared their expectations and as well, proved the readiness to battle Senegal.
Uganda Cranes Head Coach Sebastien Desabre assumed the cranes supporters that they will do everything to win the game.
”We are focused to come strongly against Senegal. Like we played against DR Congo & Egypt, the team is coherent and positive. We held gym sessions on after the Egypt game, trained well on Wednesday and shall conduct the final session on Thursday. All the players are set as continue to assess those with slight knocks in the last training session. Whatever happened in the previous three matches is behind us now and is history. Our attention is for the Senegal game. Even concerns for the past two days with the players are in-house and we dealt with amicably. ‘he said
while speaking Denis Onyango, Uganda Cranes captain revealed on how they were ready and not scared of any team in the tournament.
”Uganda Cranes is not afraid of anyone. We shall enjoy the moment and take on Senegal. The most important thing is the game ahead of us. What happened before, we call it past. We have re-opened the engine once again. ‘he assured
Uganda will be facing Senegal at 10PM local time here in Uganda on Saturday.
