Frank Tumwebaze You Must Work Hard With Clean Hands To Match My Record_Janet Mukwaya

The former Minister of Gender, Labour & Social Development, Janet Mukwaya has told the incoming minister Frank Tumwebaze that he has to work hard if he wants to match her record of clean hands.

‘’I want to thank President His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for giving me another opportunity to serve the country when am old but I want to tell these young ministers that I have a good record so Honorable Frank has to work hard to match it ‘she said

While taking over office,Tumwebaze has praised the outgoing Minister for being a great leader and promised to emulate her in his new job.

“Thank u Mama Janat our historical leader for the nice words today of counsel as you handed over the office of minister to me. I shall definitely leverage your wise counsel to try& fit in your shoes. To the interest groups; youths, women, elderly, PWDS & workers,” he said.

Tumwebaze says that he is working with an open mind and he is willing to listen to the needs of all Ugandans.

“I come with an open mind to listen to you and work with all. Once again, I thank our leader H.E Museveni for the trust and opportunity to serve my country Uganda,” he said.

He is the current Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 14 December 2019. Before, he was the Minister of Information, Technology, and Communication.

Frank was once deputy resident commissioner for Iganga District before he became a member of parliament for Kibale County in Kamwege district up to date.
