The successful meeting at the NRM party secretariat plot 10 Kyadondo road yielded great fruits.
Top Party leadership was represented by Secretary General Rt Hon Richard Todwong,the National vice chairman central region Al-hajj Moses Kigongo and the National vice chairman Eastern region Hon Capt Mike Mukula.
Members raised issues like Cadre placement in Government projects and jobs, Cadres welfare, having gone through a tough election which left most them financially limping, Cadres orientation training at Kyankwanzi and an arrangement to meet meet the National chairman H.E Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni.
Hon Hope Kajinja
In his remarks from the National vice chairman Hon Al-hajj Moses Kigongo,he declined to have knowledge about TCAU or any other groups of people who lost elections.
He promised to present all our issues to CEC which is scheduled on 01/07/2022 and in his conclusion he promised members that our issues shall be considered accordingly.
Secretary General Richard Todwong welcomed members of TCAU,ACTS and flag bearers associations in the meeting.
He cautioned Hon Felix Ogwench Adupa who is TCAU’s president from disrespecting NRM leadership and government agencies.He informed members that the party won’t support the unpopular constitutional amendment which infringes Ugandans from exercising their rights to elect leaders of their choice.
He also warned members led by Hon Adupa who were preparing to match to statehouse to desist from such act.He vowed not to support protest which he termed as indiscipline of the highest order.He concluded by pledging to work with all groups and informed members that NRM secretariat is their home anytime they want to visit,they are welcome.
He concluded by recognizing all the groups that were present but warned them to avoid being used and infiltrated by the enemies who would like to distabilise peace that NRM party brought to Ugandans.
Hon.Todwong told Felix Adupa Ongwech president of TCAU to go slow and must respect the party organs.This comes after he several times attacked secretary general and central executive committee ‘CEC’ of NRM in media platforms.
He further informed members that the referendum issue of amending the constitution is absolutely bad because it infringes Ugandans’ rights from exercising their rights and this is why NRA revolutionaries went to the bush to restore back this right to citizens.
Further more, the members thanked Hon Hope Kajinja, a former woman MP contestant for Kazo district for securing them an appointment with the party SG which was graced by National VC chairman Hon Brig Gen Al-hajj Kigongo.
This is what they have been yearning for a long time. She further told some members that they can go far provided they are disciplined and and above all very united without conflicting with the party leadership.
Mr Ainesasi Hillary, a director of mobilization for Transformer cadres Association Uganda who doubles as deputy national Coordinator in charge of Mobilization and field operations for Museveni and Janet’s team thorough YKM Kololo Malcolm x plot 10 who has been against Hon Felix Adupa Ongwech’s behaviors of making negative comments against the party leadership, government agencies like ISO which he recently attacked in some of the meetings he has been holding and also thanked Hon Hope Kajinja for making this appointment with RT Hon SG Richard Todwong.
