President Museveni To Address Ugandans On Covid-19 & Security Related Issues

The President of the Republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will on Friday 19, 2021 address the Nation on the current Covid-19 situation and related matters.

According to the Senior Presidential press secretary Lindah Nabussayi Wamboka, the address at 8pm will be live on all Television and Radios.

“President @KagutaMuseveni will on Friday 19, 2021 address the Nation on the current Covid-19 situation and related matters. The address at 8pm will be live on all Television and Radios” tweeted Nabussayi.

 

The announcement comes hours after results of COVID-19 tests done on 13th November 2021 confirmed 42 new cases hiking the cumulative confirmed cases to 126,965.

Statistics from the Ministry of Health indicate that the country has so far conducted 1,882,780 tests, 97,025 have since recovered from the virus while 3,239 have passed on.

4,835,777 COVID-19 vaccine doses have already been administered to Ugandans.

Ugandans are eager to listen to the Presidential decision on full economy reopening given the fact that in his last address, the president reopened Higher Institutions of learning as well as asking Ugandans to embrace vaccination.
