There is continued circulation of messages especially on social media calling Upon People to demonstrate on 23th July 2024 allegedly due to rampant Corruption and Unemployment .

In his latest address on wealth Creation ,the President was categorical in regard to the Governments commitment to create jobs and Fight graft . Thus ,In walking the talk ,a number of Government Officials including Members of Parliament ,PS ,Lawyers etc have been arrested and arraigned in Court to answer charges related to Corruption . That renders the call for Demonstrations based on corruption as a premise null and void .Therefore ,any demonstration with corruption as a ground would most likely be a diversion to derail the actual fight against the Vice

The Head of State also highlighted the various opportunities that when leveraged will address the Issue of Unemployment . With the prevailing peace and stability the Government has created a conducive environment not only to do business but also to access cheap capital through Programs like emyooga ,PDM ,YLP ,SAGE . With the recent Presidential Initiative to Skill the Youth through the various Industrial Hubs spread a cross the country ,a critical mass of Job creators as opposed to job seekers is being produced every after six Months .To that effect ,Unemployment is more of a personal Mindset Issue than a Government Failure .

The Pretext that demonstration is a right should be a companied by the fact that enjoyment of one’s rights should not be an infringement of the rights of others . The Kenyan Scenario offers a perfect precedent about how destructive demonstrations can be with untold disruptions of businesses and social order .

Its therefore ,imperative that law abiding citizens do not partake in the planned unlawful demonstrations slated for 23 /7/2024 to avoid confrontations with People charged To safeguard People and their Property . We all know how Kenya is struggling to cope up ,how Sudan has been ruined ,how Egypt and the Other Countries affected by the Arab spring have never been the same .

By and large ,a peaceful and Stable Uganda is all what we should jealously advocate for .

FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY.
