She Cranes Defeats Burundi 2-0 To Win A Bronze At Cecafa Cup

Uganda Women national football team (Crested Cranes) finished third at the 2019 Cecafa senior women challenge cup.

This followed a 2-0 victory in the third place play off match over Burundi on Monday at the Chamazi stadium in Tanzania.

Two second half substitutes Shamira Nalugya and Amina Nababi scored the two goals on the evening.

Meanwhile, Kenya won the championship, after overcoming host Tanzania 2-0 in the final.
