Shock As Assailants Gun Down Senior City Engineer Nguudo

The police are hunting down unknown assailants who gunned down an engineer with MBW at 9pm Friday night.

Well-placed sources say the incident in which Daniel Nguudo was killed happened at Namwendwa, southern division in Kamuli Municipality when unknown men riding on motorcycle hijacked his car, registration number UBD 653Q, confiscated his phone before shooting him dead as he tried to flee his attackers.

The same assailants are said to have staged a road block before robbing other people.

The police say scene of crime officers have visited the scene while Nguuno’s body is at Kamuli general hospital mortuary for postmortem.
