Musician Ibrahim Mayanja known to many as Big Eye has come out to cry foul after singers Catherine Kusasira and Full Figure were sent off stage by angry fans in Masaka on Boxing Day at Nabugabo Beach. Singer Big Eye’s concern is that the people pelting and sending these artistes off stage are people power fans, a political movement headed by singer turned politician Bobi Wine.
Big Eye has therefore written a letter to the Inspector General of police’s office copying in Katwe police Station and Kasangati police station. The letter dated December 28 is to let police give him and about fifty to one hundred people security as they hold a peaceful demonstration.

According to the letter, the demonstration will have them walk from Calendar Guest house in Makindye to Bobi Wine’s home in Magere from 11am to 4pm.
Big Eye’s march to Magere is to deliver a letter he has written to Bobi Wine and in the letter, he is asking Bobi Wine to talk to his people power supporters to stop mistreating NRM musicians when they get on different stages to perform.
Bobi Wine has not yet come out to comment on Big Eye’s plan but lets wait and see how the demonstration will go on Thursday next week.Sqoop
