Juventus are reportedly ready to offer Cristiano Ronaldo a two year contract extension – meaning he could still be playing beyond his 39th birthday.

The Portugal international is showing no signs of diminishing at his tender age of 35 after hammering in the goals once again this season.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star’s current deal set to expire in June 2022 and the Old Lady want him to stay beyond that.

According to Tuttosport, the Italian champions want him to add another two years to that deal to remain at the Allianz Stadium.

The same report also adds that Juventus plan to recruit a frontman to feature alongside Ronaldo.

Juve are on course to win a ninth successive Serie A title this season, although the recent coronavirus outbreak could put paid to that.

Juve are desperate to win the Champions League for there first time in over 20 years and were hoping to turn around a 1-0 first leg deficit in the last 16 against Lyon this week.
Ronaldo is currently in quarantine in his native Portugal and insists he is not planning on returning to Italy any time soon.

The forward released a statement on Twitter account on Friday, and urged his followers to take the necessary precautions to help prevent the spread of the global health crisis.D.S
