Prime Minister, Dr Ruhakana Rugunda, announced that he would go into self-isolation after his contacts tested positive for COVID-19.
In a Friday tweet, Rugunda said: “Friends, I have gone into self-isolation after some of my contacts tested positive for COVID-19.”
The Prime Minister added: “My own test result is negative, however, I have taken this decision as a health recommended measure.”
His announcement comes on the same day the Ministry of Health started testing all Cabinet minister for the virus.
This week , a medical personnel working at Mulago hospital at coronavirus centre tested positive after getting contact and exposure to Covid-19 patients.
