Manchester United have literally resurrected after they headed up north to take on Newcastle United, during a match that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side turned things around after their recent poor form in the Premier League.
A flurry of three late goals sealed victory for a dominant Manchester United side at St James’ Park.
Bruno Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Marcus Rashford all found the net in the closing stages to provide a perfect response to United’s 6-1 drubbing by Spurs a fortnight ago.

The Magpies had taken the lead within two minutes courtesy of Luke Shaw’s deflected own goal, before Harry Maguire thumped in a textbook headed equaliser midway through the first period.

This victory sees the Red Devils rise to 14th in the Premier League table, just three points off fifth place despite their lowly position.
Meanwhile, Newcastle sit in 11th with a tricky test away to Wolves to look forward to next Sunday.
