“I want to take this opportunity to thank a certain young man, Hamis Kiggundu. “Government cannot fight alone, it’s a struggle. I want to take this opportunity to call upon all those Ugandans and non Ugandans who are employees of Ugandans to dispatch this covid pandemic. I want to call upon other ugandans who have employees so that they can also take the example of our brother Ham because I saw the letter from the president recognising his contribution so i also felt the press must know they are those people who are still fighting on,” Hon. Nabbanja added.

According to Ham, over 5000 dozes were for his employees and tenants and 10000 dozes were for other fellow Ugandans.

“As Ham Enterprises, am willing and ready to commit 530 million shillings towards this justified cause to buy vaccines approximately 15000 dozes. If we had only like 2000 investors to come out for each to buy at least 10000 dozes, we would immunise or vaccinate up-to 20 million Ugandans which would be sufficient to bring the level of corona virus down,” Kiggundu said.

They are our clients, our customers, and above all fellow Ugandans. From a reasonable point of view, It is our obligation to come up and purchase these vaccines and make sure a reasonable number of Ugandans are vaccinated,” he added.
