PICTORIAL AS : Eight More Companies Join Premier Recruitment, Victoria University To Sponsor The Much Anticipated Sexy Speed Rally In Jinja

Eight more companies including Movit, Fire and Safety Appliances Limited, Marine Time Company and Lato Milk have now joined as co-sponsors of this year’s Seventh (7th) Edition of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship (FMU), dubbed the ‘Sexy Speed Rally.

These were unveiled on November, 16, 2021 at the Uganda Olympic Committee (UOC) headquarters in Kampala.

Organised by Motorsport Africa Club (MOSAC), the event is due to take place from November 26 to 27 in Jinja.

The new eight co-sponsors joins Victoria University and Premier Recruitment, who are the main sponsors of the Sexy Speed Rally. These main companies sponsoring this Rally, who are also part of the Ruparelia Group; were unveiled last Friday

At the same event, organisers of the Sexy Speed Rally emphasized on safety and security going into the final round of the National Rally Championship in Jinja.

Clerk of Course Shafic Matovu said that the name (Sexy Speed Rally) was adopted just to attract the Youths as they target massive vaccination during the event.

He revealed that there will be tight security which will also ensure that people do not crowd.

He urged fans to have safe places to watch from before adding that there will be Vaccination points set at all viewing points.

The Sections:

The sections that the rally is going to go through are Dolly Mubarak to commemorate the late driver and it will have 15km on Kamuli road.

The other section is the Muko Brown which is also on Kamuli Road to remember the Best Assistants from Eastern Motor Club.

Premier Recruitment section has also been put in place to to thank one of the sponsors – This will come through from Wandago to Magamaga (29km).

The Last stage of the four sections is called Victoria University from Magamaga and comes out at Kakira Sugar Plantation 19km.

The sections to be repeated are Muko brown and Premier Recruitment. The whole rally is 229km but the competitive part is 151km.

Scholarships, free passports on offer 

As a way of giving back to the people, Victoria University will offer bursaries (with a 60% tuition deduction) to students who will be assessed, a week to the rally. Whoever also registers with Premier Recruitment to travel and work abroad, from November 21st to 26th, will be helped to secure a Passport at no cost.

Last week, Victoria University as one of main sponsors gave out a donation of fifteen million shillings

Meanwhile, we’ve further that the Ministry of Health will join the Rally as Partners of the Federation of Motorsport Rally Championship and Mosac; to conduct free COVID-19 vaccinations.

The Rally and all its related pre-event activities are also being held, under strict adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures, as set by the Ministry of Health.

Premier Recruitment donated Shs 20m to the organizers of the event

The Ruparelia Rally crew of Rajiv Ruparelia and Enoch Olinga won the the penultimate Kabalega Rally last month.
