The Uganda People’s Congress (UPC) Party president,Jimmy Akena and other leaders from UPC secretariat have camped in Oyam North in order to campaign for their candidate, Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio.
On Friday 30th June 2023, UPC flag bearer Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio’s campaign trial led by the Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena traversed the Sub Counties of Otwal and Abok mobilizing electorates to vote for the Party candidate.
On Saturday1st July 2023, the President and team campaigned for the UPC candidate in Acaba Sub County and Oyam Town Council.
Dr. Eunice tightens ground as over 100 NRM members cross to UPC, handed over party cards to UPC President Hon. Jimmy Akena at Abario, Abok Sub County on Friday 30th June 2023.
Polling for the Oyam North By-election is scheduled to take place on Thursday, July 6th, 2023.
Jimmy Akena while canvassing for votes for the Party flag bearer Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio on Thursday 29th June 2023 ahead of Oyam North by-election scheduled for 6th July 2023.
“I present to you a very strong candidate. What we only need is free and fair elections I’m here in Oyam until the final vote is cast and I will make sure that every vote that has been cast for my candidate is counted,” UPC President.
