The head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Uzeiye Hadijah Namyalo, provided an update on the progress being made in the preparations for the upcoming 79th birthday celebrations of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Namyalo said this event will be held under the theme; “Celebrating Jajja, Lessons From Battles of Katonga; Omalayo Jajja -Tukikube Ku Ballot,” and will attract thousands of Ugandans from various parts of the country.
Namyalo called up on Bazzukulu to come on that day and celebrate with their beloved President. She pointed out that in addition to celebrating, there will be other important activities like watching revolutionary movies, attending exhibitions by Bazzukulu who are successful entrepreneurs, sharing testimonies about the president and other significant historical figures, and watching documentaries about the President and his struggle among other activities.
Namyalo claimed that the event is being organized by ONC and all the major political parties will be around to celebrate Museveni’s achievements.
“I want to assure you that nothing can stop this event and to let you know that a sizable number—whose size I can’t estimate. Therefore, I would like to take this opportunity to extend an invitation to all Bazzukulu, veterans’ children, and historians to come and celebrate Museveni,” said Namyalo.
