On Friday, December 13, singer Bebe Cool released Circumference, the first single off his upcoming album- Break the Chains.

Since then, it’s been a rollercoaster of events of him flying out of the country, and rushing back to check on his friend Jose Chameleone, who was admitted, and of course for his annual Tondeka e’Kiwatule event, on Boxing Day.

But Bebe Cool being Bebe Cool, this is a season he barely rests.
Earlier today, the artist took to his social media and announced that he will be dropping the visuals of Circumference on Wednesday 8, January 2025. He also said that he will be taking his fans on the journey of the making of both the video and audio of the song.

However, not to miss out on an annual ritual, he said all this will be after he announces the highly anticipated, and usually controversial Bebe Cool List on January 1.
“Get ready for the most honest, bold, and most credible analysis of the Ugandan music industry,” he wrote in his post.

The Bebe Cool list has always sparked mixed reactions from both artistes and music lovers at every start of the year, when Bebe Cool releases his take on the industry performance for the past year.

The list has also ensured Bebe Cool makes fresh enemies, as well as new friends every beginning of the year.
The main question online is whether Bebe Cool will add his own song Circumference, which is only two weeks old, considering the artist has not been shy to include himself on his own list a few times in the past.

Circumference has already drawn divided opinion, with some people unpleased about the artist taking a new Afrobeats direction.

Others, however, have lauded Bebe Cool for being strategic, by adapting to whatever genre appeals to the masses, and for his bold attempt to indeed Break The Chains, by trying to go beyond Africa.
