State House Anti-Corruption Unit led by Lt.Col Edith Nakalema on Sunday afternoon nabbed Pastor Sirajje Ssemanda of Revival Ministries Church, Bombo at Mutukula border as he attempted to escape from the country after he embezzled over sh4b from vulnerable people.
The anti corruption unit confirmed the arrest of Pastor Siraj through the official Twitter account.
“Sirajje Ssemanda a lead pastor at Revival Ministries Church, Bombo has been arrested along the Mutukula boarder as he tried to escape to Tanzania for allegedly defrauding over 400 private school owners and thousands of parents of vulnerable children.” Nakajima said.
Over sh4b has been defrauded by him on promises of getting them scholarships, trips abroad and connecting them to Operation Wealth Creation.
