The President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E Gen. (rtd). Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, has arrived in the Burundi capital, Bujumbura, to attend the 11th Summit of the Heads-Of-State and Government of the Signatory Countries of the Framework Agreement for Peace, Security and Cooperation for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and the region.
He was seen off at Entebbe International Airport by the Head of Public Service and Secretary to Cabinet, Mrs. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye.
The President was received on arrival in Bujumbura by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs (Regional Co-operation), Hon. John Mulimba and the Ugandan Ambassador to Burundi, Maj. Gen. Matayo Kyaligonza.
