The fourth edition of the Kigezi Teens Magazine, themed “Empowering the Youth and Transforming Lives of the Young Generation,” was officially launched on December 21, 2024, at the White Horse Inn in Kabale, Western Uganda. The vibrant event, which attracted over 500 attendees from across the Greater Kigezi region and beyond, was graced by several dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Prof. Charles Kwesiga, Chief Executive Director of the Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI).

Speaking as the Guest of Honor, Prof. Kwesiga urged the youth to adopt a positive mindset, embrace discipline, and focus on hard work to secure a brighter future. Hon. Joseph Mutebile, who encouraged youth participation in productive programs as a means of reducing idleness and indiscipline.

Councilor Wilbroad Rwamunahe, an LC5 aspirant, who commended the team’s work and called for youth support in the upcoming elections.

Mr. Eddy Nahwera, the Founder of Kigezi Teens Magazine, who extended heartfelt gratitude to sponsors, stakeholders, and Prof. Kwesiga for their unwavering support. He appealed to the government to invest in similar youth-centered initiatives to foster national development.
