Celebrated Nigerian media personality Adesope Olajide aka Shopsydoo/ Energy Gawd, is on his way to Uganda to attend music star Bebe Cool’s highly anticipated- Break The Chains album release, slated for this Thursday- May 29th, at Noni Vie.
Adesope is a renowned Nigerian UK-based radio and television personality, a talk show host, and podcaster, best known for The Afrobeats Podcast, a popular show that focuses on afrobeats and afro pop culture.
Adesope’s presence at the Break The Chains album release will not only add a layer of excitement to the event, but also guarantees a new level of exposure to Bebe Cool’s music, as well as the Ugandan music industry as a whole.
The collaboration between Bebe Cool and Adesope is expected to lead to interesting cultural exchanges between the Ugandan and Nigerian music industries.
Adesope has closely worked with artists like Burna Boy, WizKid, Sarkodie, Lil Kesh, and our very own Joshua Baraka, among others.
Fans and industry stakeholders have eagerly waited for the release of Break The Chains, especially after the release of the first two singles- Circumference and Motivation, that introduced a different Bebe Cool, with a totally new Afrobeat sound.

He has been the driving force behind many global Afrobeats artists’ early careers, believing in their potential when no one did.

His tireless efforts have solidified him as a bridge-builder, connecting continents through the universal language of music.
African star Wizkid bestowed upon Adesope the moniker “Afrobeats CNN,” in recognition of his relentless efforts to promote and propagate the Afrobeats culture worldwide.
