The Mukono Municipality Legislator Betty Bakireke Nambooze has vowed to teach NBS’ television Dalton Kaweesa a lession, alledged accusing him of drawing her into political controversies.
The angry legislator also alleges that Kaweesa uses his position in the newsroom to spin around stories by the opposition to incite members from different forces of change to conflict with each other. “On Thursday, I had a live show and calmly and respectfully gave my predictions on opposition politics in the new year.You cut out parts of the show and used a girl named Josphine Namakumbi to voice it and bais the listener…you plotted (you Kaweesa) and got a comment from the PP spokesperson after misleading him that I had attacked PP….With this you came up with a forged story that People’s Government and People Power are at War!” Namboze Said.

Nbs, something wrong must be happening in your newsroom. You turn around stories to suit you strategy of drawing us into controversies….I announced that I wont seek reelection for the Mukono District DP office after serving for ten years….you have now changed the story and NBS is saying that am leaving the position because of disagreements in party. Over and over, Ugandans are crying for examples of leaders who can handover Offices peacefully…So why do you change around a positive story into a negative one?
Mr. Dalton Kaweesa, I understand you are the acting news editor and yes your are using you position to spin around stories. You have gone ahead to use the NBS logo to publicise fake stories of me attacking Hon Bobi, things I haven’t said anywhere. Ofcourse you were able to fool many of our supporters and you are now enjoying the conflict as our people move down to tier each other.
After that a story that has created a war between People Power and People’s Government you are now at it again! Good enough I recieved a warning from one insider that there is a project which you Kaweesa is part of to draw Nambooze into controversies as a strategy to keep the opposition conflicting.
Kaweesa,I remember when you were working for Red pepper and Sejjusa kidnaped and took me to Bundibugyo you wrote that am suffering because my father had cursed me for abandoned him in misery. In the same period,when all Ugandans were sympathizing with me…You photoshoped photos of my husband hugging women and you wrote a story slandering him.
All this Kaweesa you did to divert people’s mind from the torture I, Hon Ssegona and Owek.Mayiga were going through and the attack on Buganda Kingdom by the junta. After all these years,I expected you to be a changed journalist…. When I saw you wedding someone’s daughter,I thought that you had now grown up….Unfortunately you are becoming worse! Why do you want to feed your bride on ill gotten money?
My Kaweesa,I want to remind you that we resolved that in this 2020DoubleAction year you push me,I will push you back….You are pushing me…don’t complain when we decide to push back.

However, after hearing of Nambooze’s comments against him, Stung Dalton lashed allegations and posted a video of Nambooze languishing people as a jocking pressure group which will even disappear not beyond 2021

Hey Nambooze. I was too engaged being a Sunday to immediately make a response to your tirade. I I hasten to say, this is in no way to seek validation from section of your non critical followers.
Well, A man wiser than I once said, ‘You can fool some people for sometime but you cannot fool people all the time’.
Let me winnow Nambooze’s chuff.
As expected with your emotional blackmail laced in fertile imagination, you claim I authored a story when you were arrested by Gen Sejusa. . This is easily believable for the non critical viewers.
Nambooze, you were arrested in 2008, I was not even a journalist at the time. But lies cannot hold for long, you see now that you had a bias, a premeditated position on an innocent person . I have found out from upright thinking members of society including your ‘personal friend’ Lord Mayor that it was Geoffrey Kaweesa. You and Geoffrey were fighting in your DP politics, but you decided to shamelessly become economical with the truth. Am I surprised, not really.
You have made an attack on my family. Unlike you, I will not go to the sewers, it is my profound belief that your family is very innocent. And I will respect your family by not responding.
But boy oh boy, the skeletons in the closet!

So the unfair journalism to the Omniscient Nambooze, when we seek a response from the people (People Power) you talk about? You said people power will not go beyond 2021. This is what PP responded to, among other things. Oh dear, that is unfair to you , bambi.
