Reducing Strain on Parents: Victoria University To Facilitate Students With Data For 5 Months To Aid E-learning

In a bid to create a safe learning environment, Uganda’s fastest growing private Victoria University Kampala,  has unveiled a “FREE DATA PROGRAM” that will see its students get free education data to continue with their learning online amid the covid-19 lockdown.

Victoria University’s aggregated vice chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga said, all Victoria University students shall get data which will enable them to attend to online studies and examinations for the next five months.

“In order to continue offering quality education, we are committed to ensuring that you complete your respective studies/semesters in the scheduled time. In line with this, we wish to make your online learning better and affordable by providing you with data that will enable you to continue learning online for the next five months,” Dr Muganga communicated.‘

“Please send us your name, registration number and current airtel phone number where this data will be loaded. Please contact the office of the dean of students.’’ He added.

According to Victoria University’s program, students are expected to begin their examinations on 12th July 2021.

All students have been advised to embark on the process of getting their digital examination permit by completing all tuition outstanding balances, and all the set course works.

“Victoria University cares about your continued online learning without any interruption. That is why we are happy to provide data to you our valuable student,” a statement from the University Management released on Thursday, June 24, reads in part.

This website have further learnt that to benefit from the “Free Data Program”, the student should be fully registered with a valid Student Registration Number, and send the following details via SMS or WhatsApp on;- 0788 451 551 or 0707 780 168 to claim their free education data.
