The Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has visited President Museveni at State House, Nakasero.

He was escorted by Buganda Katikkiro (Prime Minister) Charles Peter Mayiga, Prince David Wasajja and Augustine Mutumba.
“Held a meeting with His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II at Nakasero State Lodge,” Museveni said.
“We discussed matters of mutual interest.”
He added: “I thank His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II for the courtesy call.”
The meeting comes at a time of increasing reports of mailo land issues propping up.
During his recent coronation at Nkoni palace in Lwengo, Kabaka said he will not give up federal nor the demand for the return of Buganda assets.
The Kabaka also called out those pushing for the abolition of mailo land saying they would weaken the Kingdom.
