State House Controller Jane Barekye Mourns Her Long Serving Staff

It is very emotional moment when you lose someone who has been part and parcel of your life for long time and has been very integral in the success of your organization.

That is exactly the state of atmosphere in Rushere, Kiruhura district when the state house staff headed by Ms Jane Barekye, were sending off their colleague, the late Jenina Nabimanya who had worked for 23 years as a secretary under statehouse controller.

Jenina was also wife to Air force pilot Don Nabimanya.

The family thanked President Yoweri Museveni for standing with them during difficult time but also thanked him for offering to educate the children of the late.

During her farewell speech in memory of the late’s 23 years span at statehouse, Barekye who was also a direct supervisor to the late emphasized the spirit of unity and teamwork that Jenina cherished that were key in the achievement of many milestones at her work place.

Barekye urged the staff to emulate the late for serving with dedication.

The state house controller also challenged in office to work without prejudice because those offices will be occupied by someone else and there fore they should be grateful to the Fountain of honour HE Yoweri Museveni for giving them jobs.

She also condoled with the family for losing such an important person who was not only a mother but also a dear wife to Nabimanya.

She challenged the statehouse staff to remain steadfast in their call to duty.

Among the prominent mourners included among others Eng. Sewava Joseph who is the Head of political mobilisation in the President’s office.
