Maestro Studios to Unveil Atyang Laura at Afro Jazz on the Nile Concert

Maestro Studios is set to unveil Atyang Laura at the Afro Jazz on the Nile Concert forthcoming concert on 12th November at the Iconic Jinja sailing club.

Maestro studios and their flagship band D#Maestroz who will perform live alongside Queen Sheebah as well as Levixone in there forthcoming shows, are set to showcase their musical diversity of jazz and soul music at the concert.

The D#Maestroz band are slowly and surely, setting themselves up as the go to band for authentic and live sound productions.

Due to the diversity of the members in the band, featuring Congolese duo of Musa (lead vocals) and Splash Ela on the acoustic guitar, Gentle Giant Denno on the bass, Augustine Mukisa on the drums, and songstress Treezy Patricia, with Coca Cola Rated Next season 1 winner Daniel Kaweesi joining recently, the Band has claimed its place on the live music scene.

Its no surprise the ensemble of stars lined up for the Afro Jazz on the Nile concert is both sumptuous and promises a rich return reward for contemporary jazz lovers from a line-up featuring Azawi, Irene Ntale, Naava Grey, King Saha, Kenneth Mugabi and lady-of-the-moment Atyang Laura.

Speaking at the grand press party held on 21stOct at X-hub Najjera, Donald Wasake of maestro studios was happy with the progress of the band and its rich ensemble of members and saluted the other sponsors of the show; Amplify Ab Impex Ltd, the Fireworks 7000, Baba Tv, ATS Events and others for bringing to life something unique like this concert.

Atyang Laura who will be having her maiden appearance, dressed by African couture designer Mushonna Atyang is set to lay her credentials on Ugandas music scene. After releasing her cameo 7 track Album Alakara, with lead single Control getting massive airplay, Atyang has been hard at work to release her latest works to the world.

Opening with what has become her trademark line, she greeted the audience “Biabo” and promised a great show not only for the people from Jinja, but from Teso as well and the whole of Eastern Uganda.

She added: “I’m excited about this concert, because I get to show my diversity as part of the D#Maestroz band and as a solo artist to such an incredible audience and a rich line-up of acts I have closely worked with over the years. So, this for me, is a coming of age, maturity and a chance to showcase my roots of afro-fusion”.

Its set to be a climatic end of year for Maestro studios and their continuous influence on Ugandas entertainment scene, the Afro Jazz on the Nile Concert is a stamp of approval for their credibility as a rising star in the industry.
