‘Don’t Relax, You Are Entitled To Benefit From All Available Gov’t Programs’- ONC Boss Uzeiye Tips Kampala Ghetto Youths on Their Graduation

The Head of Office of the National Chairman NRM-Kyambogo SPA/PA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has presided over the graduation ceremony of Ghetto Youths trained by the Government of Uganda through the Makerere University Research and Innovation Fund under a project named “KAMPALA GHETTO YOUTH TRAINING FOR ENTREPRENEURIAL PROMOTION (KGYTEP).

We’ve learnt that the training was conducted by researchers from the College of Education and External Studies and is aimed at equipping ghetto youth with entrepreneurial skills.

The trainees have undergone extensive training for several weeks, they will be grouped and given capital to start up businesses.

While Speaking at the close of the training, SPA/PA Hadijah Namyalo encouraged the youth to always look at self-employment as the most viable option for living a successful and independent life.

“All ghetto youths are entitled to benefit from all available government programs such as Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga and others. Just like any other Ugandan, you also qualify to benefit from these programs aimed at eradicating poverty,” Namyalo told youths.

“During my commencement speech at the graduation ceremony of ghetto youth trained through the Makerere University Research and Innovation Fund earlier today, I urged them to take advantage of the vast opportunities available to make them job creators. Congratulations Bazzukulu!,” Uzeiye posted on her socials.

 

In her concluding remarks, she emphasized that the ghetto youth should always register and are entitled to benefit from all available government programs such as Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, and any other program aimed at eradicating poverty.
