A new National Resistance Movement (NRM)wave has hit Kira municipality with the coming of the new kid of the block Daniel Damazo Kananura which has left the incumbent member of Parliament Ibrahim Ssemujju to spend sleepless nights.
With his door-to-door program, Damazo has touched the hearts of Kira constituents by listening to their dreams, and projects that have left them yearning for his services, and shepherdhood to represent them in parliament come 2026.
With his great mobilization skills, Damazo has a high chance of uprooting Ssemujju who is being blamed for neglecting the most important issues touching the common people of Kira.
Through our reliable sources, Dan is likely to topple Hon.Semuju Nganda and will be contesting for the Kira municipality parliamentary seat come 2026.
He is among the most vibrant and active promoters of the Team chairman who launched the Mk project in Uganda.
Later, he was appointed acting Chief mobilizer for the Mk project in Kira municipality, Wakiso district.
Political career:Dan has been an NRM mobilizer since 2014 in his home area in the Kashaari area, Mbarara district where he was a pillar during the 2021 presidential elections campaign.
He was among the youth leaders that vanished FDC support in areas of Rubindi sub-county and Kagongi where some groups that were supporting pizza Besigye had started escalating at a higher pace.
He later contested as a member of parliament for his home area Kashaari North constituency Mbarara district, to some unclear circumstances Damazo who had become a threat with the majority youth support and close to general 60% support from his home sub-county lost his support towards the election days where he lost to his opponent the current MP.
We are yet to a certain why he moved to contest for Kira municipality where he’s not famous yet he’s been among the feared politicians in Kashaari for the next race.
