Elias Lukwago, who experienced a vote of no confidence by United Forces of Change this morning through their demonstration against poor roads in his area of governance, Kampala will never be president of the Forum for Democratic Change “any time soon”, according to party president Patrick Oboi Amuriat.
Speaking during his tour to Eastern Uganda, Amuriat said: “I think Lukwago would love the FDC job because of that Dr. Besigye link.
“I think he’s lost that softer human edge that he once had and he has still got the arrogance.
“After a while, his passive-aggressive whingeing – being direct or blunt – goes tired in the modern era of politics.
“I wonder how many Political parties would want Lukwago as their president right now.
“I saw a brilliant quote earlier which said: ‘Elias Lukwago has been tentatively elected the FDC president’ What does tentatively elected even mean? Questioned Amuriat.
“He won’t be FDC president any time soon. We are wedded to the idea that Nathan is our long-term leader- No doubt .”
