The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretary-General, Rt. Hon. Richard Todwong, held an interesting discussion with the British Political Counsellor in Kampala, Mr. Joe Darley, at party headquarters at plot 10, Kyadondo Road, Nakasero.
SG Todwong, in company with the NRM Director of External Affairs, Maj. (Rtd) Awich Pollar, revealed that the conversation with the UK diplomat centred on bilateral relations between Uganda and Britain.
“We do value this relationship as members of the common wealth community and commit to relating more in various fields for mutual benefit,” Todwong said.
Counsel Awich said the two governments have enjoyed historical friendly ties for so many years. “We are proud that the UK immensely contributes to Uganda’s infrastructure and human capital development.”
