UPC Advises Mobile Money Operators On Armed Attacks,Warns Against Vote Rigging In Oyam North

Uganda Peoples Congress ‘UPC’ has reiterated the caution by the Party President Hon. Jimmy Akena during the campaigns that no individual should dare to employ vote rigging schemes, during voting and vote counting in the Oyam North County by elections.Arach Oyat Sharon, the party Spokesperson said they have eyes everywhere deployed and they are ready to protect their vote at any cost.She called upon all members of Oyam North to be vigilant and also demand for free, fair and peaceful elections.Sharon said in preparation for 6th, July, 2023, Election Day for the Oyam North by-election, the Party identified and trained agents and observers, on all possible tactic that could be employed to rig votes and also how to protect votes for their candidate Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio.“Voters are encouraged to turn out in big numbers and vote for UPC candidate Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio. We assure you that your vote will be protected and counted.
