The highly acclaimed All Africa Festival (AAF), known as the UAE’s largest celebration of Africa’s rich and diverse cultures, is gearing up for its eagerly awaited 3rd edition.

Set to debut in the nation’s capital, Abu Dhabi, the festival will unfold from 02 – 04 February 2024, featuring an impressive lineup of A-list artists, including Omah Lay, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Eddy Kenzo, Tekno, Skales, Kofi Olomide, and Nora Fatehi.

The UAE Africa Connect (UAEAC) platform will play a pivotal role as the festival’s strategic partner, celebrating the harmonious partnership between the UAE and Sub-Saharan Africa. Etihad Park, situated in the heart of Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s landmark family entertainment destination, will serve as the vibrant stage for this cultural extravaganza.

Attendees can anticipate a three-day-long celebration of entertainment and cultural immersion, showcasing globally renowned music icons alongside local talents and DJs, representing diverse regions of the African continent.

In addition to the music festivities, festival-goers are invited to indulge in pan-African cuisine, experience live art displays, and explore fashion exhibits from UAE-based designers. This unique blend of experiences aims to pay homage to the spirit of Africa and its diaspora.

Nina Olatoke, CEO and Co-Founder of the All Africa Festival expressed excitement about the event’s return, stating, “Yas Island in Abu Dhabi provides the perfect backdrop to take this event to new heights, driving our mandate to showcase and celebrate Africa’s vibrant entertainment, food, and cultural experiences.”

The decision to move the festival to Abu Dhabi aligns with the nation’s commitment to fostering inclusivity and cultural diversity. The UAE’s appeal as a global destination for African expats seeking opportunities in various fields has contributed to this strategic shift.

“We are truly honoured to be working closely with UAE Africa Connect, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi, and Miral, in bringing this event to life,” Nina added, emphasizing the collaborative efforts behind the festival’s success.

As the African renaissance continues to captivate the world, the All Africa Festival aims to build on past successes, attracting residents and tourists to an annual celebration that not only highlights the diversity of African culture but also embraces the culturally diverse landscape for which the UAE is renowned.
